The InterWeave Customer Payment Portal for 2019

The Customer Payment Portal 2019 with extended processing capabilities (48 Merchant Service Providers to date) and Payment processing features like Real-time, Scheduled and Recurring Payments.

The Portal is a force.com application which is directly integrated with your Salesforce. The Portal allows your customers to Register, Authenticate and then review their outstanding Invoices – which they can pay any time – 24 hours day, 7 days a week. ACH/Credit Cards will be processed in accordance with your Merchant Services Provider. For example, if Authorize.net is your MSP, then Visa • MasterCard • Discover • American Express • JCB • PayPal • Visa Checkout • Apple Pay • Chase Pay • E-checks are supported. When these transactions are processed, transaction Records are created in the Salesforce Custom Object (Transactions). These are essentially Sales Receipts, which are then brought over your Financial Accounting System (QuickBooks, Sage, MS Dynamics, Oracle, etc.) which creates a Sales Receipt record. One entry = many actions.

January was a productive one at InterWeave. Considerable work has been done in the back ground and will be unveiled soon. InterWeave’s Sales Tax Solution provides sales and use tax compliance services in your CRM. Salesforce can now streamline the tax compliance process with the Opportunity, Product or any Custom Object, saving time, reducing errors, and cutting costs. Address validation, jurisdiction determination and rate calculations are applied real-time for US and Canadian tax processing.

Different states use different sourcing methods. While most states use destination-based sourcing, which means the applicable sales tax rates and rules are the ones tied to the delivery address, some states use origin-based sourcing (i.e., the location of the seller or shipper). And others use a hybrid approach. We use the exact address of the sourcing location, not just the ZIP code. Multiple sales tax jurisdictions can be located within a single ZIP code. Even next-door neighbors could pay different sales tax rates if their homes are located within different sales tax jurisdictions.

InterWeave working with Customers – typical questions being asked regarding Salesforce to Quickbooks

We work with customers who require a level of integration solution that other vendors cannot provide. For example:

1). If the integration fails because of an ‘Open’ invoice on the QB side, will it run again automatically?

(answer) Only after Invoice is resaved. We can of course roll back after every error – but in this case the entire batch will be reprocessed, which doesn’t make sense to me. Also – if invoices will be processed in batches it will be very easy to ask people not to open them during the run.

2). Sometimes we see two invoices created, after the integration. Could this be an issue for us going forward?

(answer) That is happening only if invoice is locked out and will be corrected after invoice is resaved.

3). We’d like to see a demo of the invoice attachment functionality. How difficult is it to implement, and will it impact anything on the Finance departments process?

(answer) Email setup of the invoice should include our address, which will get the attachment. Email should have invoice number in the subject (preferable) or in the body of the message. When we see all this information – we can configure email gateway and start testing it.

4). Can Payable to be hardcoded in QB (rather than being sent from SFDC), since all invoices will that field as the same? Not sure what SF field you are referring to. I do not see such mapping in your Company Profile.

5). How can we support multiple invoice templates? How do we auto-associate invoices to two different kinds of templates in QB (weekly and bi-weekly)

(answer) That feature is not a part of a standard, out-of-the-box offer. It is about one day of development. Please agree this with Bruce and we will proceed.

We calculate sales tax by starting with the statewide rate, if applicable. Then add any county, city, local, and/or special district taxes on top to get the total combined rate that applies to a taxable transaction. As always, certain buyers and products are exempt, according to local sales tax laws.
