The InterWeave Customer Payment Portal for 2019

The Customer Payment Portal 2019 with extended processing capabilities (48 Merchant Service Providers to date) and Payment processing features like Real-time, Scheduled and Recurring Payments.

The Portal is a force.com application which is directly integrated with your Salesforce. The Portal allows your customers to Register, Authenticate and then review their outstanding Invoices – which they can pay any time – 24 hours day, 7 days a week. ACH/Credit Cards will be processed in accordance with your Merchant Services Provider. For example, if Authorize.net is your MSP, then Visa • MasterCard • Discover • American Express • JCB • PayPal • Visa Checkout • Apple Pay • Chase Pay • E-checks are supported. When these transactions are processed, transaction Records are created in the Salesforce Custom Object (Transactions). These are essentially Sales Receipts, which are then brought over your Financial Accounting System (QuickBooks, Sage, MS Dynamics, Oracle, etc.) which creates a Sales Receipt record. One entry = many actions.

Address validation, jurisdiction determination and rate calculations are applied real-time for US and Canada tax processing.

Different states use different sourcing methods. While most states use destination-based sourcing, which means the applicable sales tax rates and rules are the ones tied to the delivery address, some states use origin-based sourcing (i.e., the location of the seller or shipper). And others use a hybrid approach.

We use the exact address of the sourcing location, not just the ZIP code. Multiple sales tax jurisdictions can be located within a single ZIP code. Even next-door neighbors could pay different sales tax rates if their homes are located within different sales tax jurisdictions.

We calculate sales tax by starting with the statewide rate, if applicable. Then add any county, city, local, and/or special district taxes on top to get the total combined rate that applies to a taxable transaction. I have been an InterWeave Smart Solutions Customer since July 1, 2007

InterWeave has been supporting my company since July, 2007, and we renew every year. Integration between my Salesforce and my QuickBooks is paramount; it’s a basic building block in the running of my company.

My company specializes in providing “turn over” services for rental units, apartment complexes, residential communities and property management companies. I currently have 1285 “Accounts” in SF and we average 600 to 700 “Opportunities” (service calls) a month, from which the same number of invoices must be generated, delivering over 1000 “Products” (services) utilizing our 8 employees as well as 20 to 30 subcontractors. We are not a ‘sales’ organization tracking ‘potential’ buyers. Our business depends upon our ability to schedule all kinds of work for many customers a day and produce reports for our workers to go out to do that work then report what they have actually done, and lastly to turn all of that data into invoices and account for all the money to be received.

InterWeave is a work of art and a joy to use. Both the Development team and Customer Support team are patience, professional and have the ability to listen and deliver! The CEO, Bruce Magown, stays involved throughout the process; unprecedented for a Solutions company that I have ever dealt with before.
